Bowers & Wilkins Liberty

Atelier Neue is the second official typeface crafted by Samuel Mensah. Atelier Neue is a contemporary sans-serif typeface inspired by blending the fluidity and rigidity of postmodern typefaces.

This was created with a bespoke contemporary vision in mind. It pays homage to the seminal typefaces such as Neuzit, Nobel and Futura.

Inspired by French Vernacular typography with the minimal simplicity of modern German-based typefaces. Hence the name Atelier Neue which literally translates to “New Workshop”. With a distinctive feel of elegance and geometric sans the aesthetics have proven to work well with most layouts and contexts. Constructed with OpenType features allowing access to the alternative character set and ligatures.
